Decidedly-non humanoid aliens would have the option to be either humanized or shrunk, depending on what the mun would prefer and just how non-humanoid we're talking. They would experience the same power nerfing.

I think this may be a case-by-case situation and I'm stumped on who you're talking about. But! If a character is a hive-mind with multiple bodies that they can control at any given time, they'd be put into a single body. I'd have to have a little more information on the character and canon to say for sure since this would be a pretty unique situation.
